Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will complete the presence of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus to launch in January or February, next year. Samsung Galaxy S23 Series should hit the market in the first half of the next year, 2023. The Galaxy S23 series is possible to come with three new models. Those are the Galaxy S23, S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S23 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the most premium model in the line-up.
Samsung, up to now, has not given any confirmation about the launch details to the media. It is because the series is still a few months away from the release date. Besides, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been seen on the Geekbench site. The Ultra model made its visit on the Geekbench the day after the Galaxy S23 was on the benchmarking site.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra rumors
The presence of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be above the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus. The device will come out in January or February. We have spotted the device on the Geekbench site with the model code SM-S918U. It also reveals that the Galaxy S23 Ultra unveiled on the Geekbench site is a US-specific model.
The list revealed that the device will go with an SoC, the codename was Kalama. The sources explained that it will be the new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Besides, the SoC has Adreno 740 GPU and its speed is 3.36GHz. It means that the speed is the highest performance for a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
The score of the device was 1521 and 4689 based on the single-core and the multi-core tests from Geekbench. Meanwhile, the S23 got scores of 1524 and 4597 on this test.
The listing also unveiled that the Ultra model will have at least 8GB of RAM. We expect that Samsung will launch the device with 12GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The device works with Android 13 out of the box and it will also have a layer of the One UI 5.0 out of the box.
The device was also spotted on the 3C website, which unveiled that it will have 25W fast charging. It seems that it will downgrade because the Galaxy S22 Ultra works with 45W fast charging as well as 15W of wireless charging support. Also, there is a 5000mAh battery.
Other unveiled details are the same design. But, this device will have thicker bezels than the S22 Ultra. There is also a 6.8-inch of Dynamic AMOLED, which features a QHD+ display to support a refresh rate of 120Hz. The leaked design displayed the curved screen with a hole-punch cutout located at the top center of the device.
On the back of the device, you will find a quad-camera setup and it has a new 200MP of the main camera. Likely, the device will also have a 12 MP of the ultrawide camera together with two telephoto cameras for 10MP. However, the zoom cameras support 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
